Stress is a part of everyday life, but we need to take steps to ensure that our stress doesn’t become unmanageable. If you have certain conditions, such as OCD, stress can exacerbate your symptoms. You can’t always control things in your life, but there are some fun activities you can do to reduce your stress and make you more mentally resilient to face the stresses in your life.

Exercizing regularly is an excellent way to reduce stress. You don’t have to do it for very long – even exercizing for 15 minutes a day or going on a brisk walk a few times a week is a great way to start. In the same vein, you could turn on your favorite music and dance! Stretching your muscles, meditating, or doing breathing exercises can also help you relax.

Keeping your hands busy can also take your mind off of stressors. Try crocheting or knitting, popping some bubble wrap, baking, gardening, or even drawing or painting. Mental tasks such as puzzles, crosswords, or organizing something in your home can relieve your stress as well.
